If it is found out that you illegally visited the Nagorno-Karabakh and other regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan occupied by the Republic of Armenia after 1991, you may not be allowed to enter the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan regardless of whether or not you have obtained an electronic visa.

If a person in group application is rejected to get an e-visa, all the other persons connected to the travel document of the rejected person will also be rejected.

Standard eVisa to Azerbaijan (3-5 working days)

A standard visa allows foreign visitors to enter Azerbaijan for travel purposes. It is the most common visa selected by travelers to Azerbaijan and allows visitors to travel to the country for 30 days, within a 90-day period. A standard visa allows a single entry, as multiple entries are not allowed at all. 

What is required for a Standard Visa to Azerbaijan?

  • Passport: To obtain a standard visa, travelers must have a valid passport, with at least 6 months of validity (as of their arrival date in Azerbaijan). The passport must be free of damage and have two free stamp pages. 
  • Contact Information: You will be required to provide current contact information, such as a valid email address, phone number, home address, name, and more. 
  • Accommodation Information: Specify where you are planning to live when you visit Azerbaijan.

What documents are required for a Standard Visa to Azerbaijan?

  • Passport: You are required to provide a valid passport when submitting your standard visa application. 
  • Supporting Documents: You may be required to provide supporting documents when submitting your visa application. This may include a letter of sponsorship, a university acceptance letter, or a letter of employment. 

How do you apply for a Standard Visa to Azerbaijan?

  1. Fill in the form carefully and review your information before submission. You will not be able to update this information later. 
  2. Upload a copy of your passport biography page. A black and white or color photo of your passport is acceptable. Confirm it is legible and clear before submitting. 
  3. Complete the payment. You can pay the government processing fee by Mastercard, Visa, or eDebit. 
  4. You will receive an email confirmation once your visa has been approved. Download the digital copy of your visa document. If you have been denied, you will also receive an email. Review the email carefully and follow the instructions provided.

What is the wait time for an Azerbaijan Standard Visa?
